Sim-X is a global simulation exchange that empowers all owners, operators, users and manufacturers of simulator assets. It tracks and lists all global simulator assets enabling the industry professionals to compete globally and more effectively when buying, selling and using simulator time. It is an online forum serving the interests of the Aviation Training and Simulation industry professionals.

Through the site users can quickly find available simulators meeting their specific needs and requirements, review availability then make binding offers to book sessions for those assets. All operators, big and small, will benefit from a low cost means of globally selling and promoting the assets they have invested in. It puts the control over these valuable assets back in the hands of the owner/operator. The site also provides powerful industry analyis tools to better understand and position simulator solutions on the global stage.

Sim-X is a privately held corporation based in the Greater Toronto area in Canada.  It offers and maintains a one-stop web portal bringing buyers, sellers and users of advanced simulation products together and enables more efficient and more powerful transactions.  

All global buyers, sellers and users have free and unlimited access to all the portal resources.  The only fees collected are a nominal booking commission fee charged on confirmation and completion of a simulator transaction booked through the website.

Kenneth Efford

President and Founder


Kenneth founded Sim-X to facilitate and improve how simulation transactions occur throughout the training and simulation industry.  Kenneth has served in the simulation and training industry for over 20 years in various leadership capacities.  For over 14 years Kenneth was a major shareholder and Director of Marketing and Sales for Tricom Technologies, a leading simulation developer based in Toronto, Canada. He also held leading marketing, business development and sales positions with Bombardier Aerospace and other leading aviation and aerospace organizations.
